Cath began her career as a graduate volunteer with the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce as a co-ordinator for the City’s involvement in the national Industry Year programme. She then moved on to work for BT in London, where she spent 15 years in corporate relations and stakeholder management, working with influencers across business, education, local authority and community sectors.
Having worked for a large corporate organisation she then changed direction to work for a smaller, specialist awarding organisation, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) as Key Account Manager, building relationships with colleges and training providers across the UK.
Cath joined VTCT in November 2009 as Regional Centre Adviser for the South of England, which has since evolved into Relationship Manager supporting colleges and training providers to achieve their educational and curriculum development objectives and aspirations of their learners.
In her spare time, Cath is an avid reader and never without her kindle, she also loves walking (apart from the hills!) and visiting art galleries.
