Francesca attended Abraham Moss, now North Manchester College, to gain her Higher Diploma in Beauty Therapy, then ran her own beauty therapy business for several years whilst teaching part-time. As Francesca enjoyed the teaching aspect so much, she went to Bolton Institute of Higher Education to study for her Certificate in Education. She then went on to work full time as a lecturer in Beauty Therapy and was Curriculum Leader for Service Industries at Tresham College, Northamptonshire.

Whilst working at Tresham, Francesca added NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing, BTEC Certificate in Management Studies and a Level 5 Diploma in Mentoring in Education to her list of qualifications. She was also an External Quality Assurer for VTCT for over 15 years before taking up a position with us in 2013 as Regional Business Development Manager for Midlands and Wales.

Francesca has a real passion for learning and achieved the “Work Welsh” qualification, following the introduction of the VTCT bi-lingual resources.

More recently, she has added several short online qualifications to her CV, including “Accessibility of E-learning”, “Take Your Learning Online” and “Understanding Dyslexia”

Her current role is Partnership Planning Manager, providing help and support to VTCT centres.
